Agusti 2025

Serengeti Cultural Festival

The SOW team was present at the festival with the aim of addressing the root causes of violence in these communities. A great opportunity to raise awareness and provide families with knowledge about child abuse and where to seek help.

Village of Hope
Dodoma, Tanzania

SOW Tanzania team visited Village of Hope. The team was delighted to meet the leaders and children. SOW also provided clothes, food and equipment for the girls. Village of Hope provides a home environment, education and work programs for orphans affected by AIDS

SOW Meeting Dodoma 

The SOW team in Dodoma and Directors met to discuss various issues including campaigns and strategies for 2025. The meeting was held at a St. Gasper Hotel and Conference. Attendees were Peter Kirigiti, Bhoke Kirigiti, Joseph Kaluzi, Adam Mitamba, Sam Mabulla and Joella Kirigiti.

Visit to Nzuguni B Primary School Dodoma

Team SOW in Dodoma, Hawa Ally and Joseph Kaluzi, conducted outreach at Nzuguni B Primary School. They were able to hold discussions with the Headmaster and provide education. The school is in need of counselling services  for affected children to find healing in order to prevent re-occurences

Visit to Chang'ombe A na B, Primary School Dodoma

Hawa Ally, Joseph Kaluzi, Adam Mitamba and Samwel Mabulawa visiting Chang'ombe A and B Primary Schools.  The team introduced themselves to the Headmaster and Club Teachers at Chang'ombe B Club School, with the aim of educating students and parents on Child Abuse.

Capacity Building in Tanzania

SOW in collaboration with the University of Dodoma organized workshops with local partners to educate the community on the dangers of sexual violence and its impact on society.
