Stewards of Children Training
Stewards of Children is an evidence-informed prevention solution that increases knowledge, improves attitudes, and changes child protective behaviors. It offers practical prevention training with a conversational, real-world approach.
Stewards of children Facilitator-led training typically takes about 2 hours, engaging and thought provoking, group led sessions. The training includes:
A two-part DVD presentation with commentary from sexual abuse survivors, experts in the field and concerned adults.
Facilitator-led discussion emphasizes important issues in prevention within the community and organizations that serve children.
An interactive workbook is provided to facilitate the discussions, reinforce key concepts, and serves as a resource. In addition a personal action plan for resolving child sexual abuse in case of an encounter is also developed based on what you learn during the training program.

How a few simple actions can have far-reaching positive effects.
The trainees will leave with the understanding that child sexual abuse can be prevented, it can be stopped, and it can be overcome.
The training cost is $20 per session per person. The cost covers the interactive workbooks, certificates which will be provided at the end of training.
